We are taking all reasonable steps to protect our guests and our merchants, and we are committed to supporting the operations of our retailers.  We recognize that, in light of concerns surrounding COVID-19, retailers and merchants may implement their own corporate policies regarding modified hours or temporary store closures. We encourage you to check with individual retailers to confirm their hours of operation.

In order to alleviate any concerns our guests may have around visiting the Town Center and to ensure we are doing all that we can, additional precautions are being enacted, using high-grade disinfectants and increased touch-point cleaning throughout the property.

As this situation evolves, we promise to continue relying on the guidance from government agencies to determine our best course of action. Should the situation change at any time, we will alert you immediately.

Safety and security are key priorities for Annapolis Town Center, and we have confidence that our retailers, their employees and our guests will continue to exercise caution and common sense in the weeks to come.

This is an unprecedented time in our country.  Let’s work together so that we can all stay healthy and happy.

Please see below popular Q&A to better assist you when visiting Annapolis Town Center.

Q: How will the property ensure appropriate social distancing?

A: We are closely following the guidelines from the CDC and other health organizations, as well as our own local and state recommendations. As restrictions are lifted, we will develop a plan to ensure that our property is safe for customers, tenants and employees. In that plan, we will take into consideration things like cleaning and sanitization, signage and operations, parking, public spaces and events, and more.

Q: What steps are you taking to make sure that your property is clean and safe?

A: In addition to our already thorough cleaning efforts, we have contracted a consulting company that specializes in commercial property hygiene and safety to ensure that we are going above and beyond to make sure our property is a safe place to work and visit.

Q: When will the whole property reopen?

A: Our property remains open during this time, although many of our tenants have temporarily closed or adjusted hours. Click HERE for individual restaurant/retailer hours of operation and details.

Q: What are your reopening plans to attract customers?

A: Our team is hard at work developing a reopening plan to support tenants, attract customers and welcome the community back to our property in a safe way. We will be in touch with regular updates to our tenants as our plans are finalized.

Q: Will you implement any enhanced store sanitation protocols?

A: Our efforts will include the management office and all common areas. We expect that all tenants are also developing a cleaning plan of their own to maintain a safe space for customers.

Q: Will the landlord have any regulations or protocols for the following:

  • PPE (masks, gloves or other protective gear)?
  • Temperature checks for tenant employees or customers?
  • Maximum number of people allowed in spaces at any given time?
  • Social distancing between tenant employees and customers?

A (in common areas): In common areas and in the management offices, we are following local regulations and CDC recommendations when it comes to maintaining a safe environment.

A (inside retailers and restaurants): Tenants are responsible for the safety protocols inside of their space. We ask that all tenants look to local government guidelines, recommendations from the CDC, and your own corporate protocols to develop and maintain a safe environment for your customers.

Q: When will you restart event programming?

A: The health and well-being of our guests is our top priority, and we’re committed to following CDC, WHO and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 precautions at our property. Like so many organizations in our community, we have come to understand that it is best to be proactive and cautious about group gatherings. We will evaluate recommendations by these organizations and announce how and when event programming will restart at a later date.

Q: When will valet services reopen?

A: We are closely following the guidelines from the CDC and other health organizations, as well as our own local and state recommendations. We will make a decision on when to restart valet services based on best practices and guidelines from these organizations. For updates, please continue to check our website.
