In partnership with Art Farm Annapolis, the Annapolis Town Center collected coloring page submissions from young members of the community who wanted to team up and show their appreciation for our local medical professionals.

We have all noticed the hard work, selfless spirit, and dedication our health professionals have exhibited around the nation as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds. In an effort to show our support and to honor National Nurses Week (May 6-12), the Annapolis Town Center looked to create a window mural composed of colored artwork by the community, thanking those professionals. The goal was to give these heroes the recognition they deserve, as well as help meet practical needs with a donation to the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Community Response Fund for every submission. The Community Response Fund provides necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), counseling for staff, and financial support for patients, and more.

Over the course of two weeks, the Annapolis Town Center received 200 submissions, resulting in a total donation of $2,000 to the Community Response Fund. And, thanks to all of you, the Annapolis Town Center was able to unveil a mural of unique artwork, located beneath Target. The artwork will be on display all month for your viewing.

Our Heroes

To take it a step further, some of the dining locations at the Town Center also made donations to Food For the Frontline, which provides brave medical workers with much needed, free meals.

Please continue to donate to the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Community Response Fund and the Food For the Frontline Fund.
