If this year has taught us anything, it is to never take for granted the ability to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with others. This summer, the Annapolis Town Center unveiled three new open-air gathering spaces (The Green, The Patio, and The Garden) that provided guests with somewhere to take in events and enjoy the company of others in a safe and healthy way. Collaborating with popular tenants and local businesses, the Town Center worked toward becoming a favorite go-to destination, offering visitors more than just retail options.
Keeping in line with physical distancing guidelines, each space featured fun decor to match the tone and vibe of the weekly featured event. Thursday’s Vinyl’s & Vino in The Garden consisted of a night under the twinkling lights, enjoying awesome cocktails by Vintage Views: The Wandering Bar and live tunes spun by DJ Crawdads. Dinner on the Boulevard hosted by Ziki’s Japanese Steakhouse provided guests with two seating opportunities to change up their same old dinner plans for an evening under the stars, complete with the soothing sounds of Larry Lay, the Piano Man. Sketch Night hosted by ArtFarm Studios enticed some newcomers to the property as they expanded their creative portfolio by sketching a living, costumed model. Then, every Saturday morning, Yoga Factory took to The Green to provide a complimentary vinyasa yoga session for guests of all ages and levels.
It is safe to say that these fun, new, and exciting events were definitely a game-changer at the property. Guests and residents enjoyed them so much that Annapolis Town Center has decided to continue hosting some of them throughout the month of September. So, be sure to check out their events page for updates! Plus, a lot of fun and festive experiences are on the horizon to enjoy this fall and holiday season. Stay tuned!
