Their seasonal menus take you on a journey into a new way of eating where delicious dining and conscious nutrition go hand-in-hand. You can even enjoy their nutrient-dense staples alfresco style on their airy and spacious patio. Need a faster option? Whole Foods is known for selling a wide variety of organic, quality products and sourcing only sustainably farmed produce and humanely-raised meats. They are the perfect choice for a quick meal, wholesome snack, and even meal prep necessities. 

Get Some Exercise

Warm weather and clear skies are the perfect excuses to get outdoors and stretch your legs. Visit Charm City Run to get fitted with the latest gear and accessories that will have you working out in style. They even host a number of events throughout the year that encourage you to step it out – whether running or walking. New to the property is Ruah Yoga. They offer a number of meditation and yoga sessions to help you along on your fitness journey.

About Faces Day Spa & Salon has a number of treatments that cater to your specific needs and wants. Enjoy a body wrap, a facial or a deep-tissue massage. Looking for a little change? Tenant Spotlight: Charm City Run

Charm City Run has been a staple at the Annapolis Town Center for the last 12 years. With a focus on fitness, they have been able to connect with the local community and create a subset of a diverse range. To commemorate their long tenure, we sat down with Bill Frazier, the Annapolis Store Lead, to provide a more personal look into the store. 

 

Q: For those who don’t know, can you tell me a little bit about Charm City Run?

A: Charm City Run is a walking/running specialty store that has been recognized as one of the top run/walk specialty stores in the USA. It was even named the top store in 2016! We also pride ourselves on the work we do in the community. Anything from putting on a race or operating a running camp for local high schools – we love to give back!

Q: What is your favorite part of the Charm City Run community? 

A: My favorite part of our tight-knit community is all of the stories we hear of people’s individual journeys. I love hearing about the person who first began walking and now runs a marathon. Or, the person who took up running as a way to get healthy and now it is part of their lifestyle. Hearing these stories is what motivates you, and others, to get active and continue on your own journey.

Q: We know Charm City run does a lot of events, what was one of the most memorable, or your favorite run or event? 

A: This past year’s 24-hour run was easily the most memorable for me. We raised money for a wonderful charity, it was the first in-person run since the pandemic started, and we were able to see all of our friend’s smiling faces again – what a great day!

Q: Do you ever get to collaborate with other tenants? 

A: We have been fortunate to collaborate with others and we look forward to doing more of it.  Recently we collaborated with Salty Dogs on a recurring monthly event and we are in talks with Neo Pizza on another venture as well. 

Q: Now that it’s officially summer and things are opening up, what can guests look forward to this summer? 

A: There is a lot in the works. We recently launched our Paws and Claws event – for dogs and humans. With such a great turnout, we have decided to make this a monthly event.  Cross Country day in August for all the high school kids . What I am most looking forward to is our activations for the Olympics! Think viewing parties and maybe an Olympic Village (wink wink).

Cars and Coffee

Sundays, May 16-August 29

Calling all car lovers! Every Sunday from 8:00 am-12:00 pm, we will be hosting Cars and Coffee in the lot adjacent to Gordon Biersch! It’s the perfect way to see all types of cars, classics to modern, and meet new people to talk shop with! 

Vinyls and Vino

Tuesdays, starting June 8

We’re bringing back Vinyls and Vino! Now located on The Green (next to PF Changs), the event will be bigger and better than ever! Hosted again by Vintage Views: A Wandering Bar and joined by DJ Crawdad for live music, come on out for a fun night filled with some amazing cocktails! Every Tuesday from 5:30-9:00 pm.

Charm City Run 24 Hr Run

June 2-3

Wednesday, June 2 is National Running Day. Celebrate with Charm City Run for a full 24 hours as you use the power of running to make a difference in our local community. Run (or walk) the Annapolis Town Center for 24 hours, 1 hour, or anything in-between to raise money for Danny’s Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County. Contributions raised from this event will be directed towards purposes and causes that could help change the course of addiction in Anne Arundel County.

Paws and Claws Event

June 10

Bring your furry friend out for a walk or run during Paws & Claws – hosted by Charm City Run and Salty Dog & Sweet P’s Swag. On June 10 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, join us for a fun one-mile walk around the property. Post-workout, you and your pup get to enjoy a few sweet treats! White Claws for our runners and complimentary treats, doggy beer, and bone broth for your furry companions. 

Beautifully Wilde Boutique

June 11-12

Beautifully Wilde Boutique is a pop-up airstream filled with some of the trendiest new looks. Accompanied with a little outdoor setup (which is perfect for post-shopping selfies), this airstream perfectly adds to the shopping experience! Visit them on property June 11 and 12.

Make It A Date

You may think that spouses or live-in significant others need a breather from each other after a year-long, 24/7 forced bit of “togetherness”. However, we think just the opposite! These longtime love birds need to jump back on the bandwagon of newly dating partners who have been longing for one-on-one time. As the weather turns and the nation re-opens, it is clear that more than ever we all need a little more fun and a lot less stress. That is why we have jotted down a few date idea favorites around the property.

Get her nails done at the highly sought-after Paint Nailbar. Or, have a couple’s makeover session at Salon Unlimited! It feels good to take care of yourself – together!

An Evening Out

Who else is ready for someone else to cook a great meal?! Or, maybe you are just excited to wear something other than lounge clothes. Get out of the house and treat you and your loved one to a casual or romantic dinner date. Annapolis Town Center boasts a variety of restaurants to fit everyone’s palate. Enjoy dinner and a show at Ziki Japanese Steakhouse with their Hibachi tables. Indulge in a Napa-inspired experience at Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant and Tasting Room. Share flavorful, Asian-inspired entrees and innovative cocktails at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. Catch a game and a great brew at Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant. Or, keep it simple and visit one of the many quick-stop eateries like NEO’s, Burgers Grilled Right, Giolitti Deli, and Mission BBQ.

Once you are finished, grab a few drinks at one of the many restaurants or head over to Bin201 for some take-home refreshments.

Hands-On Approach

Let your creative side shine. Muse Paintbar hosts a number of instructor-led painting sessions throughout the week. Bring your loved one and test your skills, all while sipping on wine for this fun and interactive date. Paper Source also hosts a variety of craft classes, workshops, and events to further explore your artistic side. Looking instead to create your own personalized date experience? Head over to Whole Foods and grab all the perfect fixings for a picnic. Annapolis boasts a ton of great locations to sit, eat, chat, and enjoy the great outdoors. Whole Foods has the snacks, refreshments, and cutlery for the ultimate spread.

Holiday Shopping at Annapolis Towne Center

I long for the holidays meandering around stores with my Grandmother; touching a fabric, smelling a candle, tasting a chocolate sample, listening to holiday music being piped in to add to the festive mood. Shopping was an event. It appealed to the senses in a way internet shopping can’t. And you know what else those afternoons did? They created memories. Memories that I hold dear to my heart.

Recently, my mother and I decided to spend a few hours at the Annapolis Towne Center to recreate those days and tick off our shopping list. Here are just a few suggestions to please everyone on your list this year.
